MSR, a low-cost, ruggedized, portable magnetic stripe terminal
for its CardVisor® Age Verifier and CardDB® student/corporate ID
verification applications.
This new portable
magnetic stripe
ID Scanner runs the CardVisor Age Verification
software and CardDB ID Checker software. It is a derivation of
the popular IDVisorTM Z22 Mobile scanner that has seen extensive
field use under demanding conditions at military bases, bars,
nightclubs, and universities throughout North America.
TokenWorks Inc. has
developed the CardVisor Age Verification software which
automates and documents the Age Verification process for
nightclubs, bars, casinos, liquor stores, convenience stores,
Supermarkets, etc. CardVisor Age Verifier software alarms if an
ID is underage or expired and helps identify fake IDs by cross
checking the displayed name with that printed on the ID. By
recording transactions it enables you to prove a specific ID was
checked at a specific time, a vital step when establishing an
affirmative defense with state authorities.

second, CardDB™ checks the status of a swiped card in an
internal, customer-loaded database and records the transaction
for reporting purposes.
