Since its release in 2002, CardDB has been popular with Universities and other organizations requiring a magnetic stripe based portable database application. March of 2001, CardTronics Corp. formally changed its name to TokenWorks Inc.  The board made this change upon receiving preliminary approval from the Trade Mark office on the trademark TokenWorks.
